I've dabbled with the Power book of which this video is based. I was advised by a local instructor that if I could manage her Competent class then I should bypass the first DVD and buy this one. Whilst I would agree with the exercises being well presented and illustrated, their speed of uptake is far too fast. I have had to put this DVD on hold whilst I go back to my drawing board, and audio record the first two Sun Saluatations, to practice them at my own speed until I can "jump hop skip" with this DVD.

If you already have some of Baron's DVDs and you know you like his style then this DVD won't disappoint. It goes a bit longer than Journey into Power #1 and has a few more advances moves. If you haven't sampled Baron's style then you should know he goes faster than other Yoga instructors and is chattier than most. He talks through every pose, but it can be a good thing if you're looking for motivation.

I consistently return to this DVD again and again. One of the best Yoga DVDs on the market, in my humble opinion. It is wonderful for a quick yoga workout; gives you a good amount of exercise both physically and mentally.

Slightly easier workout than "Soul of Strength" Baron Baptiste "Live. Good for many levels because he gives modifications. Has his unique style of verbal instruction, which is one of the reasons why his yoga DVD's are my favorites, and the setting is a class with real people doing yoga, which is cool. The only thing to dislike about this yoga DVD is the music soundtrack, but there is the option to turn it off.
