5 out of 5 stars Fun Fun Fun   December 15, 2009
H. Benefield (las vegas, nv)
I bought Happy Healthy Monsters a few years ago for my first child and she loved it jumping learning healthy snacks, we only stopped watching it because we moved and it was missplaced. This copy is for my super charged 2yr old and she loves it also.. hopefully this dvd will make it to kid 3.

5 out of 5 stars Daughter LOVES this DVD   May 8, 2007

Daughter (4 1/2) has been watching me work out to videotapes since she was a baby and wanted one of "her own". I bought this when she was 3 and she has adored it always. When I pull out one of my tapes, I need to put this on for her on another TV. Yes, it's "only" jumping moves like the other reviewer said, but this DVD also talks about healthy habits and healthy eating. She is still engaged with it all the way through, and when it's over she always asks me for a piece of fruit. I think it's a great way to introduce kids to fitness and reinforces the message of healthy eating that I as a parent always try to stress.

5 out of 5 stars Must Have!   April 4, 2007

This is a great DVD to entertain child. My 23 age child loves it. This DVD keeps child occupied and grabs their attention. You can teach toddler and twos, how to jump. Also your child will learn words from this DVD.

5 out of 5 stars A great way to make exercize fun for your kids   October 3, 2006
Manny Hernandez (Bay Area, CA)
Ever since we got "Happy Healthy Monsters" for our son, he has become an advocate of jumping. He's "jumping" everywhere he goes and invites everyone around him ("Come on Daddy, jump!") to join in. I am happy to see this, because a few months ago he was a bit on the "lazy" side (perhaps his workaholic parents that stared for long periods at the computer screen were not the best example). So, though we now have a living spring bouncing around the house, that seems to be a good 'problem' to have in this world of sedentary and overweight kids.

5 out of 5 stars Gets kids to march and jump, eating good foods too.   January 17, 2006

I remember buying this video when the twins were too little to appreciate it and happened to pull it out again when they were 20 months old. Perfect age to get marching and jumping started. My boys started lifting their legs and moving with the kids. There is alittle Elmo, lots of Grover (who is hysterical) and some appearances by the jumping cow and cookie monster with singing glass of milk. DVD extras with Cookie monster require an older child to know how to use the "select" and arrows on the remote. Singing with India Erie (sp) is okay, and not sure I like the rap with Wyclef, but anything Cookie monster does is funny.

My kids are too young to understand the healthy food stuff right now but they will grow into that part alittle later.

Fun video, I like it better then the Wiggles because Sesame Street touches on more subjects.
